Transparent data use
Profile Echo collects and uses user data only for the features the user chooses to use.
What we collect
We may collect account information, resume content, profile images, portfolio details, support messages, subscription information, notification preferences, extension login activity, and technical data needed to keep the service secure and functional.
How we use data
Data is used to provide requested features: building resumes, exporting files, showing profile pages, evaluating quality and completion, handling support, managing plans, sending account emails, and connecting approved extension features.
Sharing and limits
Google requires transparency around collecting, using, and sharing user data. Profile Echo keeps data use limited to the purposes disclosed here and to the permissions approved by the user. We do not use user data for unrelated purposes.
Browser extension
The extension connects when the user signs in with their Profile Echo email and password, and can access only the approved application helper features.
AI features
When users request AI extraction, review, or answers, relevant resume and application content may be processed to return the requested result. Users should review AI output before using it.
Retention
We keep account and resume data while the account is active or as needed for security, legal, backup, or operational requirements.
AI providers
AI requests may be processed by configured third-party AI providers only to produce the requested extraction, evaluation, or answer.
Public visibility
Published profile pages and public download links may be visible to anyone with the link until the user unpublishes or changes the selected template.
Security and diagnostics
We may record login activity, IP address, browser, device type, approximate location, system errors, and operational diagnostics to protect accounts, investigate issues, and improve reliability.
User control
Users can update profile data from user settings and may delete their account. Deleting an account removes the account and related data according to system behavior and retention requirements.
